Many thanks for a wonderful stay at An Dòbhran! A perfect spot to explore from, or just gaze at the loch.

What a fabulous house in a wonderful location. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you to Shona and Duncan for a wonderful stay. Your house and hospitality is lovely. Hugely recommend pizzas from Manuela’s wee bakery.  Great spot and great pizza (only a 10-15 minute walk). We’ll be back!!

Had lots of fun exploring this are of the West Highlands. The house is excellent. We are two pipers and a drummer, but decided not to bring our instruments and disturb the peace and tranquillity of Dornie.

What’s not to love about Dornie? Excellent weather (sure it’s always like this!!) Two sightings of otters. Several sightings of eagles. Gees and goslings aplenty along with herson, oystercatchers and a friendly seal. Two Munrose climbed. Beautiful, comfortable house catered for all our needs and help from friendly hosts Shona and Duncan to sort out our flat tyre. Hope to be back (oh and the Clachan pub great too!!

Thank you for a lovely stay!! Stunning views no matter what the weather. Jo’s Pizza and Clachan Pub are great for food. Also highly recommend Skye Marine boat trips, magnificent views and stunning wildlife. Thank you once again for a week full of unforgettable views!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your lovely house. Enjoyed time relaxing with the most amazing views.... Being able to walk from 'the doorstep' has also been a treat. We have spotted herons, oystercatchers, a seal and heard the otters whistling.  We are sorry to leave such a lovely home and location.  

This is one of the best holiday houses we have ever stayed in. Everything is perfectly clear and it well thought about every single detail: pictures on the walls, curtains, big lamp in the corner of the living room, etc. The small bouquet of fresh flowers on the salon table is a wonderful touch. It feels like being at home ☺. This is a beautiful house with an extraordinary view. ‘Unfortunately’ the surrounding is also very extraordinary. So it is impossibly difficult for one to just stay in this house and enjoy the view. Otherwise one could spend hours just looking the window. We tried to do both: explore but also enjoy the time in the house. Dear Shona and Duncan – Thank you.  We will try to come back.

Lovely stay – all the weather that Scotland can bring – but the views and the house more than make up for it! Great base to explore this part of the country.
